“ A great place to eat when you are around. Super friendly staff and fresh well prepared food. We had omelette for starters and fresh tunasteak and the homemade pasta with Dalmatian beef. Tunasteak was, as the waitresses told us a bit salty but cooked to perfection with traditional sidedish. The pasta was delicious and a different flavor to me. Wines were matched with the food and coffee with traditional sweets and chocolates was great to finish off. Only downside in Croatie is they haven’t banned smoking on the terrace yet, so whilst enjoying you food from all sides smoke and vapes are coming your way. (Tip we brought a mini vent on a stand that helps a bit) Thank you Konoba Mate! ”

“ Very nice waiter speaking English and German. Food was poor, pizza margherita had too much cheese, sometimes less is more... Anyway beer was cold and prošek tasted well so it is better place to spend evening with drink than to eat out. Also children shouting and crying at the nearest table were quite annoying. Owners should think about separating family tables from option for couples so everyone would feel more comfortable. ”
“ What a wonderful place to stumble upon when tired and hungry. We ordered the pizza, some karlovačo and the house red wine. Firstly the pizza is HEAVEN. The dough/pizza bread is beyond perfection. We could’ve eaten that only with some olives and wine and been happy enough. It’s absolutely delicious. I ordered the veggie pizza, and my boyfriend ordered the capricciosa. We were both very satisfied - and full! The vegetables on both pizzas were perfectly cooked, and not soggy at all. I can’t praise it enough. It was among the best pizza experiences I’ve had. The beer and wine were great as well. The staff were nice, smiling and attentive. 10/10 across the board! ”
